You Stay Classy San Diego

My brother quoting Anchorman as he texted us things to do while in town.  We stayed nearby the stadium in the same hotel with the San Diego Chargers (we determined they're probably football, right?  We are sports challenged).  The rookies were there and the regular team was coming a bit later in the week.

San Diego was a treat after the hot hot desert.  We went out to the gaslamp district our first night there and grabbed a drink at the Sand Bar at the W hotel.  Nice call Brian.  Rooftop bar with sand, fire pits, and fun seating.

The next day found us lounging poolside and then heading to Coronado Island to check out the old Del Coronado hotel (the location of Some Like it Hot).  No sunset was to be seen, the clouds like to hang out in the afternoon.

We lounged in Balboa Park, enjoyed all the green.  We ate some money gluten free pizza and GF beer at Pizza Fusion (sooooo good) and chilled in the hot tub at night.  Being able to get into a hot tub was niiiice (in Vegas, just a bit too hot).

Jeff likes pizza, Ash likes gf beer.
Pineapple and Bacon, hold the Wheat.  Hold on, I need to change my pants.

San Diego is beautiful and the weather is gorgeous but it seems so....well....clean.  So nice.  Everybody was very white and everything was well taken care of.  I'm sure there are areas of town that get sketchy.  We loved visiting (LOVED) but don't see making a move here anytime soon.  Too classy for us bozos.

Very classy

  2. First of all, I love "Anchorman" (especially the "milk scene"). Second of all, that pizza looks amazing...I am so ready for lunch right now.
